We are looking for an enthusiastic and task oriented veterinary assistant to join our nation-wide Pet Vet Care Centers family.
From the first pediatric visit to end of life care, Ruckersville Animal Hospital is here every step of the way for our clientele and their beloved pets.
While we may be a small town veterinary hospital, we are fast-paced with start of the art technology.
We offer surgical services, including orthopedic, external and IV laser therapy, digital radiology as well as ultrasound/echocardiograms, top shelf dental services including digital dental radiology and more.
Job tasks include assisting doctors and LVTs with appointments and surgical prep, obtaining medical histories, restraint of dogs and cats with the occasional rabbit, handling and running in-house lab samples, taking radiographs, filling prescription medications, typing medical records/invoicing, and frequent cleaning throughout the shift as well as at closing.
Full-time position (10hr shifts Monday - Friday & 1 - 2 Saturdays per month).
